Job summary

Job Store Staffing, partnered with a global Aerospace & Defense company, seeks Semi-Conductor Assemblers in Colorado Springs, CO. Pay is $18-22 per hour. Shift is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm at West Colorado Springs.

You will hand solder and mechanically assemble, perform SMT rework, use a microscope, and inspect work for quality. Requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing; IPC, J-Std, NASA training preferred; flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/assembly.
• Experience with hand soldering and mechanical assembly.
• Training to IPC/J-Std, NASA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering and mechanical assembly with microscope use.
• Perform SMT rework, removing and replacing SMT components without damage.
• Inspect operations to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Hand soldering and mechanical assemblyUse of a microscope while performing soldering work for extended periodsMicro soldering Integrated Circuit (IC) chips and other SMT components using hand-soldering irons and hot air reflow equipmentAdvance soldering rework skills of printed wiring boards.
• Perform SMT rework, removing and replacing SMT components without damage, while inspecting operations to ensure quality of product.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ year prior work experience in manufacturingHand soldering and mechanical assembly experienceTraining to industry standards (IPC, J-Std, NASA, etc) preferredPrevious/Active certifications and experience with NASA 8739 and/or J-STD-001 Space Addendum preferred Must be able to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environmentMust have flexibility in work hours, limited overtime as neededThis position may require visual acuity testing, to include but not limited to near vision and normal color vision testing on an ongoing basis
