Job Store Staffing is partnered with a global Aerospace & Defense company to find a highly skilled Semi-Conductor Assembler III to join their dynamic team. Pay: $18-22/hour Shift: Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)Location: West Colorado Springs, CO As a Semi-Conductor Assembler III, you will play a hands-on, critical role in bringing high-reliability components to life. You will build assemblies according to detailed work instructions, set up equipment, maintain hardware inventory, and perform rigorous quality checks. As a level III assembler, you will also serve as a mentor, providing technical guidance to lower-level associates.

Responsibilities

• Build complex assemblies using work instructions, work orders, and engineering drawings as a guide.
• Perform thorough quality work checks and test finished products for defects to ensure strict quality standards are met.
• Set up equipment in preparation for production orders and perform minor preventive maintenance.
• Provide general guidance on task completion, technical skills, and new skill acquisition to lower-level associates.
• Maintain strict accountability for product quality, process levels, and required documentation.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and orderly while strictly adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ year prior work experience in manufacturingHand soldering and mechanical assembly experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• Training to industry standards (IPC, J-Std, NASA, etc) preferred
• Previous/Active certifications and experience with NASA 8739 and/or J-STD-001 Space Addendum preferred
• This position may require visual acuity testing, to include but not limited to near vision and normal color vision testing on an ongoing basis
