Job summary

Shermco is seeking an experienced Circuit Breaker Technician to join our team in the United States. The role involves hands-on work on high, medium, and low voltage switchgear, including teardown, assembly, testing, and repair of breakers, contactors, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; electro-mechanical training preferred.
• Experience rebuilding, repairing, and retrofitting circuit breakers.
• 480V to 15kV circuit breaker experience desired.
• PEARL breaker certification desirable.
• Testing skills and understanding of electrical/mechanical testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work on low & medium voltage circuit breakers from various OEMs.
• Travel overnight for onsite breaker testing and repair.
• Troubleshoot, rebuild, retrofit, test and repair switchgear including teardown and assembly of breakers, contactors, and related equipment.
