HireCall is seeking an Experienced Circuit Board Soldering Technician for our Tulsa, OK facility. The role focuses on precision hand soldering, assembly of through-hole and SMT components, and adherence to IPC standards in a production environment.

The position requires reading schematics, following work instructions, and maintaining quality records. Overtime and weekend hours may be required to meet production targets; a strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience soldering circuit boards and electronic assembly.
• Able to read technical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Familiar with through-hole soldering; SMT a plus.
• Attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
• Able to work independently or in a team and meet production targets.

Responsabilités

• Perform precision hand soldering of electronic components onto PCBs.
• Assemble and install through-hole and SMT components as required.
• Read and follow technical drawings, schematics, component layouts, and work instructions.
• Inspect solder joints and completed circuit boards for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Identify and correct soldering issues, including cold joints and bridges.
• Use soldering irons, stations, magnification equipment, and other tools.
• Perform circuit board rework, component replacement, and repairs as needed.
• Follow ESD procedures when handling sensitive components.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow quality and safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized while meeting production expectations.

Experienced Circuit Board Soldering Technician

Location: Tulsa, OK

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Overtime: Some Saturdays may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Assemble and install through-hole and surface-mount components as required.
• Read and follow technical drawings, schematics, component layouts, and work instructions.
• Inspect solder joints and completed circuit boards for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Identify and correct soldering issues, including cold solder joints, solder bridges, and insufficient solder.
• Use soldering irons, soldering stations, magnification equipment, and other electronic assembly tools.
• Perform circuit board rework, component replacement, and repairs as needed.
• Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures when handling sensitive electronic components.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow established quality and safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized while meeting production expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous circuit board soldering or electronic assembly experience is required.
• Proficiency in precision hand soldering and electronic component installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Knowledge of solder joint inspection and common soldering defects.
• Experience with through-hole soldering; surface-mount technology (SMT) experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Experience

• Electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or electronic equipment repair.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with circuit board troubleshooting, rework, and repair.
• Knowledge of ESD protection procedures.
