Job summary

EmergencyMD in California is seeking an Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician to assemble and solder electronic components on PCBs while ensuring IPC quality standards.

Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering, blueprint reading, and precision assembly in an electronics manufacturing environment is required. You will perform soldering, inspect joints for IPC compliance, and work in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

Position Summary:

The Electronics Assembler / Soldering Technician is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) while ensuring all products meet IPC quality standards. This role requires experience with SMT and through-hole soldering, blueprint reading, and precision assembly in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering irons, hand tools, and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and IPC-A-610 standards to ensure accurate assembly and soldering quality
• Conduct visual inspections of solder joints and completed assemblies to verify compliance with IPC-A-610 quality standards
• Assemble mechanical components and wire electrical systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently during assembly processes

Job Requirements:
