Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic assembly, soldering, rework, repair, and testing of PCBs and assemblies.
  • Support multiple production programs with focus on electronics products.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic components and systems to component level.
  • Execute production tasks across various programs including PCB population and wiring harness.
  • Follow electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Conduct in-process inspections for engineering specs and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain documentation and production reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
  • Perform soldering and desoldering of through-hole and SMT components.

Job description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Electronic/Circuit Board Technician to join our production team. This role will support multiple production programs and projects, with primary responsibility focused on electronic assemblies, circuit board troubleshooting, testing, repair, and quality verification, while ensuring products meet exact specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electronic assembly, soldering, rework, repair, and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies
  • Support a variety of manufacturing and assembly programs, with a primary focus on electronics-related products and systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components, assemblies, and systems to component level
  • Execute production tasks across various programs, including PCB population, wire harness assembly, component installation, system integration, and circuit board testing
  • Follow detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and technical documentation
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and production reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
  • Operate test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other electronic diagnostic tools
  • Perform soldering and desoldering of through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, electronics certification, or military electronics training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, PCB repair, testing, troubleshooting, or electronics manufacturing required
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical drawings
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Experience with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering required
  • Electronics troubleshooting and component-level repair experience strongly preferred
  • Aerospace, defense, industrial, medical device, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Experience performing soldering, inspection, and testing to IPC and/or military standards.is a plus
