Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in capital project administration, engineering design, or public-sector construction management.
• Five years of progressively responsible work experience in local government administration preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience at a senior management level.
• Knowledge of budgeting, CIP processes, and state/federal laws related to local government.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of capital project administration, engineering design, or public-sector construction management.
• Coordinate with County Administrator and department directors; oversee CIP lifecycle from scope to construction management.
• Prepare reports for the Board of Supervisors and handle special projects as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
