Fauquier County is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to manage multiple capital projects from planning through construction, coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors and County departments to keep initiatives moving on schedule.

Candidates should have an engineering, construction management, or related background and proven success in complex public-sector projects, with familiarity in grants or multi-source funding.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Experience managing complex construction or capital projects.
• Public-sector capital projects, grants or multi-source funding familiarity is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors and County departments.
• Review plans, schedules and project costs.
• Oversee construction and act as County representative on sites.
• Manage budgets, contracts, change orders and contractor payments.
• Keep projects on schedule and resolve issues.
• Support grant-funded projects and required reporting.
• Provide project updates to stakeholders.
