Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• Six years of managerial capital improvement project or planning experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the organization, staffing and operational activities for the Capital Implementation Program including planning, scheduling and budgeting of new capital projects.
• Provide staff support to the Environmental Planning Commission, Mayor and City Council; prepare staff reports and write legislation on CIP program goals and fund appropriations.
• Direct, coordinate and review the work plan for CIP services; monitor work flow and evaluate methods.
• Coordinate CIP program activities with other City divisions, agencies and outside organizations; conduct public meetings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management/engineering/architecture/landscape architecture/planning/public administration
