Job summary

City of Albuquerque is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead facility renovation and new construction initiatives. The role covers professional and technical architectural or landscape architectural services, construction management, fiscal planning, design, plan check, inspection, and budgeting across multiple projects.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and have six years of experience in facility construction or capital project management, including at least three years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
• Six (6) years experience in facility construction, architectural design/construction, landscape architecture, or capital project management.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise professional and technical services for multiple capital projects.
• Serve as project manager for assigned capital projects.
• Participate in inspection and construction administrative services for CIP projects.
• Plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate staff and consultants on renovations and new capital development.
• Develop project status reports, schedules, cost estimates and budgets.
