Job summary

Conagra Brands in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring a CIP Operator for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). You will inspect, clean, and sanitize equipment and work areas to meet GMP, safety and 5S standards while supporting the sanitation team.

This role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and involves pre-operational cleaning, lockout tagout adherence, and periodic inspections. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Lockout Tagout certification and adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience with GMP and sanitation standards is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Awareness of waste disposal methods and general plant safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Perform visual and swab inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness.
• Help maintain minimal downtime during pre-operational sanitation and inspections.
• Inspect and clean equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with GMP standards.

The CIP Operator position is responsible for but not limited to inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure ensuring all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met.

We are hiring for a CIP Operator to help prepare and sanitize the equipment that creates our savory Marie Calendar, Banquet, and Healthy Choice products and more at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility. You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of about 60.

Shift: This role is 3rd shift, 10:30pm - 7am. Monday through Friday.

Location: Located at 1023 S 4th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51503

Hourly Rate: $23.42 an hour
