Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a CIP Operator in Council Bluffs, IA. This 3rd shift role (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) inspects, cleans, and sanitizes equipment to meet GMP, safety and 5S standards, reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor.

The position supports production for Marie Callender's, Banquet, Healthy Choice, and other brands. You will join a team of about 60 and work at the Council Bluffs facility located at 1023 S 4th Street.

Qualifications

• Lockout Tagout certification required or preferred.
• Knowledge of plant safety and waste disposal methods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and cleanliness of plant machinery and areas.
• Prepare production equipment for cleaning following lockout procedures.
• Conduct visual and swab inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness.
• Minimize downtime during pre-operational sanitation processes.

Hourly Rate: $23.42 an hour

The CIP Operator position is responsible for but not limited to inspecting and cleaning equipment and work areas, disassembling and reassembling equipment according to company policy and procedure ensuring all GMP, safety and 5S standards are met.

We are hiring for a CIP Operator to help prepare and sanitize the equipment that creates our savory Marie Calendar, Banquet, and Healthy Choice products and more at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility. You will report to the Sanitation Supervisor and join a team of about 60.

This role is 3rd shift, 10:30pm – 7am. Monday through Friday.

• You will be helping to prepare production equipment for cleaning following Lockout Tagout procedures
• Inspections are key to ensure sanitation effectiveness; you will provide both visual and swab checks periodically
• Minimum downtime is important to our facilities, keeping this top of mind when performing pre-operational and sanitation processes and inspections
