Job summary

the hive is seeking a Capture Artist to drive cinematic trailers and in-engine sequences. You will plan and execute cinematic concepts, capture impactful in-game footage, and collaborate with marketing and external studios to deliver high-quality video assets for campaigns.

You will leverage Unreal Engine Sequencer and the Adobe suite to craft engaging trailers, ads, and social media content, combining technical skill with creative storytelling in a fast-paced game development environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Unreal Engine Sequencer.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Intuitive understanding of focal length, framing and depth of field to simulate real-world cameras in UE4/5.
• Extensive experience in a comparable role within the video games industry.
• Involvement in the video games industry.
• Exceptional aptitude for trailer development with a creative vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop cinematic capture concepts for high-quality in-engine trailers.
• Use Unreal Engine Sequencer to create impactful in-game scenes and sequences.
• Capture in-game and in-engine shots for trailer projects, coordinating with editors or working independently.
• Collaborate with Brand Managers and external studios to align trailers with creative vision.
• Engage in video editing and trailer development as needed.
• Produce assets including trailers, ads, store trailers, and social media content.
