Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Server – Beer and Wine to guide guests in ordering food and beverages, deliver rapid counter service, and suggest menu items to enhance the movie-going experience. You may cross-train as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher depending on staffing needs.

Key responsibilities include greeting guests, knowledge of bar items, accurate order entry, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Strong English communication and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of age required for serving alcohol.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state required certification.
• Safe Alcohol Service training completion required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Know bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance guest experience.
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from guests.
• Handle transactions on the assigned register with proper cash balance and logging.
• Verify identification for alcohol transactions.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure accurate orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-contact areas.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Monitor safety and report concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
