Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Server – Beer and Wine to enhance the guest experience at the theater. You will greet guests, provide menu recommendations, and handle beverage and food orders with accuracy.

Responsibilities include alcohol verification, cash handling, and maintaining clean, safe service areas while collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members. Ability to work flexible hours and deliver excellent guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• Proof of age (18+ or 21+ depending on state)
• Basic food handling training and local health certifications
• Safe Alcohol Service training required
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Regular attendance required
• Energetic and friendly attitude
• Provides excellent Guest service
• Accurate cash handling and basic math
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Teamwork and ability to follow directions

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests promptly with a friendly demeanor
• Know bar and menu items to upsell and guide selections
• Record food and beverage orders accurately at the counter
• Handle transactions and manage cash with accountability
• Verify guest ages for alcohol service
• Maintain designated alcohol service areas and conduct proper sanitation
• Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance sales
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of high-touch areas and comply with PPE
• Participate in cross-training as needed
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest needs
