Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Server – Beer and Wine to guide guests in ordering food and beverages, provide menu knowledge, and deliver fast counter service. You may cross-train as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher to support theater operations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling cash, verifying IDs for alcohol, maintaining clean work areas, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders.

Qualifications

• Proof of age required; alcohol service may require 21 in some states.
• Completion of local/state mandated certifications, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training program completion.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Excellent Guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the Guest experience.
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests at the register.
• Handle cash and balance the register; log tickets and inventory.
• Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 for alcohol transactions.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-contact areas and follow PPE protocols.
• Assist with other tasks as needed by staffing requirements.
