Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre operations and uphold policies and standards. You will be cross-trained across all departments and play a key role in staff training and guest service excellence.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and can complete Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program. The role offers growth from Assistant to Senior Assistant Manager and beyond, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete local food handling training and certifications as required.
• Management staff handling alcohol requires Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; follow directions; show urgency.
• Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager's directions and supports staff decisions.
• Work in all departments and theatre functions.
• Train and coach team members.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for General Manager.
• Inspect theatre facilities and report repairs.
• Ensure dress code compliance and superior customer service.
• Enforce Cinemark policies and employee relations protocols.
• Lead safety and cleaning tasks; manage urgent issues.
