S&ME is seeking an Office Principal to lead the Cincinnati, Ohio office with a focus on operational excellence and strategic growth. The role oversees a multidisciplinary team and drives profitability while maintaining high client satisfaction.

You will shape strategy, mentor staff, and coordinate with regional leadership to align with corporate goals, ensuring a safe and collaborative workplace across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, construction, or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering, construction, or consulting, with 5+ years leading teams and office operations.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with a client-first approach.
• Professional license/registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, staffing, scheduling, project oversight, and facility management.
• Drive profitability through project budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Promote safety and technical excellence, ensuring high-quality client service.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to align local and global goals.
• Lead talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
