Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an intern to join the Critical Infrastructure Communication (CIC) Engineering Team in Rochester, NY, for May–Dec 2027. You will learn the product portfolio, join a development team, and assist in designing sub-systems and features in software development.

You’ll work on Java/C/C++ development, integrate GE Cloud DevOps tools, and follow established engineering processes. The role requires a full-time student, 3.0 GPA, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (no rounding).
• Experience in Computer and Networking administration (Linux, Windows).
• Experience in software development and revision control (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with GUI/web UIs and scripting (Python, Bash).
