Job summary

GE Vernova MDS, LLC is seeking a student intern to learn our product portfolio and contribute to a next-generation product line. You will join an active development team, gain hands-on experience, and help with designing and testing software across multiple subsystems.

Internship term May–Dec 2027, Day/1st shift (40 hours per week). Must be enrolled full-time in a technical program and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Strong scripting and Linux experience are valued, along with Java/C/C++ proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in a technical field (Engineering, CS, CE, or IT).
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
• Experience in software development and revision control (Git/GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software using Java, C or C++.
• Integrate GE Cloud DevOps tools into the GE MDS CI/CD process (e.g., Python/Robot Framework).
• Assist with designing sub-systems and features in software development.
