Job summary

Annapurna Labs in Austin, TX is seeking a Software Development Engineer to architect, build, and operate CI/CD platforms that accelerate silicon development. You’ll own Jenkins, Gerrit, and GitLab as scalable services for hundreds of chip design and verification engineers to build, test, and integrate their work with speed and confidence.

You will design self-service onboarding, multi-tenancy, and automated provisioning, using AWS CDK and GitOps practices to ensure high availability,

Qualifications

2+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
Experience designing or architecting scalable systems with reliability and scaling considerations.
Proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
Experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code (CDK/CloudFormation).
3+ years operating CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab or similar) at scale.
Familiarity with code review systems and distributed tracing is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or above in CS, CE, or related field.

Responsibilities

Design and operate CI/CD platforms at scale with multi-controller Jenkins and high-availability Gerrit.
Build self-service onboarding, multi-tenancy, and automated agent provisioning.
Deploy and manage CI/CD infra using AWS CDK with cost-efficient build farms.
Develop observability with dashboards, SLOs, and alerting for platform performance.
Drive adoption of best practices and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
