Job summary

Realtor.com® in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our CI/CD Platform team. You will architect, build, and maintain scalable, secure delivery pipelines enabling hundreds of engineers to move code from commit to production.

You will lead multi-region AWS EKS operations, implement Istio service mesh, and advance GitOps with ArgoCD and CircleCI, while mentoring peers and driving platform maturity and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or DevOps platform roles.
• 4+ years designing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure at scale.
• 3+ years administering Amazon EKS and multi-cluster environments.
• 1-2+ years deploying Istio or similar service mesh.
• Experience building reusable CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of an enterprise self-service CI/CD platform and cloud-native runtimes.
• Treat delivery infrastructure as a product with clear users, reliability goals, adoption measures, and feedback loops.
• Build reusable platform capabilities that abstract infrastructure complexity for product developers.
• Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical planning for platform initiatives.
