Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the CV Test Infrastructure team within the Annapurna ML organization in Austin, TX. You will build and maintain automated validation infrastructure (Origami) that supports chip verification across emulators, virtual platforms, and silicon prototypes, and you will design diagnostic tools for rapid failure analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of programming experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience designing and building developer tools or diagnostic utilities.
• Strong experience with Linux environments and debugging complex systems.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Git).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop diagnostic tools for analyzing test failures, hardware issues, and regression results across emulation, virtual platform, and silicon environments.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for test execution across multiple platforms.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for nightly regression and on-demand test execution.
• Develop and improve the Origami platform - a web-based system for test management, resource monitoring, and validation reporting.
• Automate emulator model build and release processes.
• Build dashboards and tooling for real-time visibility into regression results, resource utilization, and failure analysis.
• Manage and improve SLURM-based job scheduling infrastructure for shared compute resources.
• Collaborate with multiple verification and design teams to understand their diagnostic and automation needs.
• Maintain and extend AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, DynamoDB, S3) supporting the validation platform.
