Job summary

Ampere Computing in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Global Labs DevOps Engineer to design and deploy next-generation infrastructure enabling engineering teams to move faster and stay productive. You will automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with internal and open-source communities to evolve Ampere’s development environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with GitLab CI, storage technologies, Ansible, Docker, Bash, and Python.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on expertise with storage technologies, Ansible, Docker, Bash, and open-source tooling.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and software development methodologies.
• Experience with UEFI, ACPI, ARM processors, and virtualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate deployment workflows for technical solutions using scripting and CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability.
• Provide internal technical support to engineering teams, including troubleshooting, documentation, and issue resolution, to maintain product and system availability.
• Design and deliver scalable solutions that improve engineer productivity.
• Architect, deploy, and continuously maintain secure, reliable, and flexible infrastructure and systems by applying best practices.
