Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer for the TechOps CICD Image Management team. You will own Ceramic, the internal golden-image build platform, and drive automation for Linux-based pipelines across Apple Silicon, macOS, and Windows.

You will write Python automation, manage image lifecycles, and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance. This role emphasizes IaC practices, on-call readiness, and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Linux systems engineering experience at scale.
• Proficiency in Python automation and scripting.
• Experience with IaC tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with artifact management (Artifactory).
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware/KVM).
• Familiarity with macOS/Windows admin in CI/build environments.
• Security-minded with AI-enabled workflow experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Ceramic image build platform with new features and fixes.
• Design and maintain automated golden image pipelines across Linux, macOS, and Windows.
• Package software from source to satisfy internal requirements.
• Develop Python tooling to manage builds, drift detection, and tests.
• Write IaC using Ansible, Packer, and Terraform for configuration and hardening.
• Integrate pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI; publish artifacts via Artifactory.
• Manage image lifecycle across the CI/CD fleet from provisioning to deployment.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to meet CrowdStrike standards and scans.
• Troubleshoot image-related production issues; onboard new toolchains.
• Contribute to docs, runbooks, and knowledge transfer within the team.
