Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own the internal image platform (Ceramic) and automation pipelines that power our software factory. You will focus on Linux-based image pipelines, extended to macOS and Windows, using Python tooling and IaC to automate build, test, and hardening steps.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux systems engineering experience at scale with build toolchains and packaging
• Python proficiency with automation and scripting
• Experience owning and extending an internal platform or service
• Experience with IaC tools: Ansible, Packer, Terraform
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Familiarity with virtualization concepts (VMware, KVM) and multi-OS environments
• Ability to work across a distributed team in multiple time zones
• Security mindset with cybersecurity fundamentals
• US Citizenship or Green Card required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Ceramic, the internal image build platform, with new features and fixes
• Design and maintain automated golden image pipelines for Linux, macOS, and Windows
• Compile and package software from source to meet internal needs
• Develop Python tooling to manage image builds, drift detection, and testing
• Define and implement IaC for image configuration and hardening
• Integrate image pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI; publish artifacts
• Manage image lifecycle across CI/CD fleet including provisioning and decommissioning
• Collaborate with security/compliance to meet standards and automate checks
• Assist with production incident response and toolchain evaluation
• Contribute to team documentation and runbooks
• Participate in on-call rotations
