Job summary

Clark County's Center for Community Health seeks a Community Health Worker (CHW) for its STI HIV Prevention and Harm Reduction Program. The CHW provides culturally competent public health services in Clark County, with most work on-site at the Harm Reduction Center and at other community locations.

Reporting to the Program Manager, this full-time role offers an 8-hour M-F schedule and may include remote/hybrid options. Candidates must reside in OR or WA; Local 335 representation applies.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional classification within STI HIV Prevention and Harm Reduction Program.
• Population-based public health setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person harm reduction services and staff the Harm Reduction Syringe Services Program.
• Conduct community outreach events to promote STI/HIV prevention.
• Provide operational support during STI HIV clinic and related program activities.
