Job summary

Westminster Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Business & Operations Director to oversee daily operations, finances, technology, and HR. The role reports to the Pastor and Head of Staff and requires in-person, full-time commitment.

You will manage budgeting, accounting, vendor contracts, risk management, and compliance, supervise facilities staff, coordinate with the campus team, and support the Board of Pensions onboarding and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; equivalent experience considered.
• Extensive nonprofit finances, budgeting, and reporting experience.
• Facilities management experience with vendor coordination and emergencies.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Experience in risk management and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and cloud productivity suites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and accounting operations, including reports.
• Manage facilities, property care, vendor relations, and leases.
• Oversee risk management, safety plans, and compliance with regulations.
• Supervise staff and support onboarding, vacation, and benefits processes.
• Attend staff, campus, and board meetings and report to leadership.
