Job summary

King’s Church in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Operations to provide senior-level leadership for the church’s operational life, including staff, systems, facilities, Sunday gatherings, and ministry operations. The role collaborates with Co-Pastors and ministry leaders to ensure effective execution and growth.

The ideal candidate will be spiritually mature, highly organized, and capable of leading both people and processes, with experience in strategic organizational development and staff

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to the local church.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional or ministry experience will be considered.
• 3–5+ years of experience in operations, organizational leadership, management, or ministry leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Church Operations & Strategic Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives across ministries.
• Sunday Services & Production Operations: Lead service logistics, production, and volunteer teams for Sunday gatherings.
• Staff Leadership & Organizational Management: Supervise administrative and support staff; develop teams and workflows.
• Facilities & Resource Management: Oversee facilities, equipment, safety, and maintenance.
• Church-Wide Events & Ministry Support: Plan and execute major church-wide events with budgets and staffing.
• Administration, Finance & Organizational Systems: Manage scheduling, documentation, and church management software.
