Job summary

King’s Church DC seeks a Director of Operations to lead the church’s staff, systems, facilities, Sunday gatherings, and ministry operations in alignment with the church’s mission.

Partnering with Co-Pastors and ministry leaders, this role develops organizational structures, processes, and teams to support growth while ensuring operational excellence and servant leadership across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant professional or ministry experience considered.
• 3–5+ years of experience in operations, organizational leadership, management, or ministry leadership preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff, develop leaders, and manage multiple departments or areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for day-to-day church operations.
• Work with Co-Pastors to implement priorities, initiatives, and ministry objectives.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve church-wide systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee operational planning, resource allocation, and cross-ministry coordination.
• Establish accountability structures and clear communication across staff and ministries.
• Lead Sunday services operations, production, volunteers, and facilities management.
