Job summary

Center Church Charlottesville is seeking an Operations Coordinator to turn plans into action with strong organization and logistics across ministry, operations, missions, and prayer. The role reports to the Senior Connections Director and is a full-time position with a salary range of $45,000–$60,000.

Based in Charlottesville, VA, the coordinator will manage giving, bills, budgets, HR processes, events, and care initiatives, ensuring excellence and reliable follow-through in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Center Church’s giving process, including recording and depositing contributions.
• Oversee recurring bills and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with budget tracking, expense management, and answering ministry teams’ financial questions.
• Provide administrative support for HR processes, including interviews, hiring, onboarding and offboarding, staff records, background checks, and employee benefits.
• Coordinate projects and events, managing logistics, environments, supplies, volunteers, and execution.
• Plan and execute short-term mission trips and Global Care Teams.
• Lead coordination of prayer teams, prayer rooms, and church-wide prayer gatherings.
