Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressively responsible accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related financial experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including payroll taxes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts with accuracy.
• Record and adjust journal entries and oversee month-end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, contributions, and designated funds.
• Process payroll for salaried and hourly staff; review deductions and taxes.
• Support audits, internal controls, and financial policy improvements.
• Provide financial guidance to church leadership and staff.
