Zusammenfassung

James River Church is seeking a Facilities Maintenance role to support day-to-day upkeep of the campus. You will work with the Maintenance Manager on maintenance plans, track work orders, and ensure facilities, grounds, and fleet vehicles are well-maintained.

Responsibilities include following schedules, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with large events. Ability to lift 80 lbs and read SDS required; on-call for services on Sundays and Wednesdays; PC skills preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Two or more of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, General Construction, Blueprints, painting, landscaping, and irrigation systems, and general maintenance of mechanical systems are required.
• One year of experience related to maintenance, custodial care, and building setups.
• On-call availability for Sunday & Wednesday services to handle emergencies.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) are desirable.

• Follow work plans to accomplish facilities objectives and goals.
• Receive and track work orders and maintain related records.
• Complete daily and weekly checklists and reports.
• Measure, monitor, analyze, and implement actions to meet goals.
• Perform routine maintenance of buildings, grounds, and church-owned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of large assets (e.g., lifts, golf carts, trucks, trailers).
• Support event setup and teardown as needed, in line with the church calendar.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and Calendar Coordinator.
