Job summary

St. Paul’s Church, Riverside seeks a Maintenance Technician to manage day-to-day maintenance, safety, and upkeep of church buildings and grounds.

You will perform routine repairs, coordinate service with contractors, and respond to urgent facility issues while keeping the Director of Facilities informed. This role includes coordinating capital improvement projects campus-wide, maintaining preventive maintenance records, and ensuring safe work environments.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of building maintenance or facilities experience.
• Ability to read technical instructions, maintenance records, diagrams, and schedules.
• Strong communication with leadership, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Inspect church and parish buildings regularly to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
• Perform routine repairs including door hardware, plumbing, carpentry, painting.
• Coordinate HVAC service, filter replacement, and contractor work.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Coordinate capital improvement projects with parish leadership and contractors.
• Ensure safety procedures and school-area requirements are followed.
