Job summary

The Kirkwood United Methodist Church is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the care, maintenance, safety, and operation of its buildings, equipment, and grounds. The role supports worship and ministry by ensuring facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for events and services.

Responsibilities include supervising custodial staff, coordinating access and room setups, managing alarms and safety procedures, and coordinating with vendors for repairs and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Preferred degree in property management, real estate, or facility management with CPM credentials.
• Experience in facilities, property management, maintenance, or related field.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry).
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and appearance of church buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds.
• Manage building systems and preventive maintenance schedules; maintain service records.
• Coordinate outside contractors and oversee capital projects such as HVAC, roofing, and plumbing.
