Job summary

Northway Church is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support Sunday services, midweek events, and other campus needs. You will handle opening/closing, host duties, and coordinated room setups to enable ministry teams.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a reliable schedule centered on church activities, and a servant-hearted approach. Previous facility or event hosting experience is preferred, with a high school diploma as a baseline.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness to serve and work with church staff and volunteers.
• Ability to work a non-standard schedule centered on Sundays and events.

Responsibilities

• Serves as facility host for Sunday services, midweek evenings, and after-hours events.
• Executes building open and lock-up procedures when scheduled.
• Handles custodial needs and room setups required by ministry teams.
• Acts as the primary liaison with security providers when onsite.
• Assists the Facilities Manager and Associate with maintenance, grounds, and facility projects.
• Executes room setups, teardowns, and event hospitality.
• Performs general maintenance and custodial tasks across the campus.
• Attend weekly staff meetings for prayer and planning purposes as schedule permits.
• Other duties as assigned.
