Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and craft custom orthoses.

You will supervise OT assistants and students, and educate patients on orthosis care. The position emphasizes post-surgical rehabilitation, collaboration with hand surgeons and other clinicians, and leadership in a clinical education setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions; provide scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; participate in care planning.
