Job summary

Genedata, a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Field Application Scientist for Chromatics in Lexington, MA. You will provide expert scientific and technical support, analyze customer workflows, and present product demonstrations.

This role is remote-friendly with on-site responsibilities and travel up to 20%. The ideal candidate holds an MSc/PhD in biology with 2+ years in biopharma or chromatography, plus hands-on chromatography and software experience (Chromeleon, Empower, Unicorn,

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in biology or related field.
2+ years in Biopharma/Chromatography instrument industry.
2+ years hands-on chromatography experience and data analysis; familiarity with instrument software (Chromeleon, Empower, Unicorn, OpenLab).

Responsibilities

Provide software demonstrations, training, and technical support to customers.
Investigate scientist needs in protein production, downstream processing and analytics to frame presales pitches.
Deliver scientific consulting and professional services for customer projects (data staging, trainings, requirements consolidation, testing).
Oversee and coordinate pilot and deployment projects for Genedata Chromatics, managing plan, scope, timeline and budget.
Apply chromatography domain expertise to define new software functionalities.
