Job summary

Bucknell University seeks a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the Office of Human Resources through a period of renewal. This hands-on leadership role will stabilize the team, sharpen service delivery, and implement a redesigned operating model across the HR function.

The CHRO will work closely with the President and senior leadership, inherit a roadmap, and execute a plan to build a trusted, data-driven HR organization in a higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years of HR leadership with a strong operational/service delivery track record.
• Experience leading HR operations including HRIS and data.
• Familiarity with Title IX and EEO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end HR operations and service delivery.
• Direct compensation and benefits execution and budgets.
• Administer retirement and health plans and self-insured health program.
• Lead annual performance management and talent development.
• Manage employee relations and confidential investigations.
• Develop HR/Title IX policies in compliance with laws.
• Produce analytics from Workday and HRIS.
