Job summary

CampusWorks seeks an exceptional HR executive to serve as onsite Chief Human Resources Officer and trusted consultant for colleges and universities. You will lead as both CHRO and advisor, steering transformations in HR service delivery, compliance, and employee experience.

You will design HR strategies and systems aligned with institutional goals, partnering with senior leaders to drive change, engagement, and accountability while staying connected to CampusWorks’ national network and resources.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership with at least 5 years as the head of HR in a higher education institution.
• A proven record of transforming HR services and delivery in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems (HCM, ATS, payroll/benefits) and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Agility to navigate politically sensitive environments and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite CHRO and trusted consultant delivering HR leadership for higher education institutions.
• Lead HR transformation initiatives that improve service delivery, compliance, and employee experience.
• Design and implement HR strategies and systems aligned with institutional goals and culture.
• Partner directly with senior leadership to drive change, engagement, and accountability.
