Qualifications

• Proficient keyboard/piano playing and ability to model technique across skill levels.
• Able to read sheet music and interpret notation in multiple styles.
• Experience teaching keyboard/piano to children, youth, or adults preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging keyboard lessons aligned with students' goals.
• Develop structured lesson plans and curricula reflecting SRMA standards and Christian values.
• Teach proper keyboard technique, hand position, posture, and practice habits.
• Foster a Christ-centered, encouraging learning environment.
• Prepare students for SRMA recitals, showcases, and events.
• Follow SRMA policies, safety guidelines, and code of conduct.
