Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in drumming across various styles and skill levels.
• Ability to read drum notation and charts clearly.
• Prior experience teaching drums or percussion is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate drum lessons.
• Develop structured lesson plans aligned with program standards and Christian values.
• Teach proper drumming technique including grip, stroke, posture, and foot technique.
• Foster a Christ-centered, encouraging learning environment.
• Prepare students for recitals, showcases, and events.
• Follow SRMA policies and safety procedures.
