Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in playing guitar and ability to model techniques across styles.
• Ability to read guitar notation and tablature and communicate musical concepts clearly.
• Experience teaching guitar to various ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging guitar lessons tailored to each student.
• Develop lesson plans and curriculum aligned with program standards and Christian values.
• Teach proper guitar technique including hand positioning and rhythm.
• Foster a Christ-centered learning environment and motivate musical excellence.
• Prepare students for recitals and showcases.
• Follow SRMA policies and safety procedures.
