Job summary

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Indian River County is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts and donor stewardship. You will partner with the Executive Director to expand annual giving, events, grants, and sponsorships while growing community relationships and promoting the ministry's mission.

The role requires building donor networks, managing communications, and guiding staff and volunteers in development activities within a Christian ministry context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years in fundraising or nonprofit development.
• Ability to build relationships with donors, churches, and partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and public speaking.
• Experience with donor databases and fundraising systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with the strategic plan.
• Establish goals, monitor progress and report fundraising trends to the Executive Director.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities with individuals, churches, foundations and communities.
• Coordinate major gifts, grants, events and sponsorships to grow revenue.
• Oversee donor stewardship, acknowledgments and timely communications.
• Represent Care Net in the community, churches and partnerships.
