Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Service Technician for our U.S. team in the energy and power generation sector. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair CHP and power generation systems at customer sites across the United States.

The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site support, with extensive travel and on-call rotations. Experience with gas engines and generators is ideal, and a valid U.S. driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Technician or Generator/Engine/CHP Technician preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance on CHP and power generation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend reactive breakdowns and on-call service rotations.
• Service natural gas and biogas engines and generator sets.
• Replace components and support engine overhauls.
