Job summary

Aggreko plc in Chickasha, OK is seeking a Power Technician 2 to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators and engines at our service center and on customer sites.

This field-service role requires a strong mechanical foundation, the ability to read schematics, and a willingness to travel locally in a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Approximately 4+ years of relevant mechanical, generator, engine, or field-service experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Must reside within approximately one hour of Chickasha, OK due to the field-service requirements of the position.
• Ability to lift/move objects typically weighing less than 75 lbs.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card and/or valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Based out of the Chickasha, OK service center with local travel daily in a company vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on generators and engines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures and complete repairs.
• Service equipment in the Chickasha service center and at customer locations.
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Assist with installation, setup, commissioning, and operation of rental power equipment at customer sites.
• Work independently or with other technicians on larger jobs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate with customers and the service team.
• Follow Aggreko safety procedures and technical standards at all times.
• Support additional power equipment and related rental gear as needed.
