Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA in Vonore, TN seeks a Chop Gun Operator to run and maintain the chop gun and resin pump, perform start-up, calibrations and shutdown daily, and help control cycle times and quality at the assigned station.

You will read and apply work instructions, document standard procedures, and communicate clearly with teammates, management and engineers, while meeting safety, attendance and productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of chop gun experience in a lamination environment, preferably marine.
• Ability to complete written forms and read routine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the chop gun according to procedure and instruction.
• Perform and complete all preventative and autonomous maintenance on the chop gun and associated equipment daily.
• Perform and complete all PM work orders on equipment.
• Responsible for the start up, calibrations, and shut down of this equipment.
• Confidently read, interpret all work instructions and the standard work for the assigned station.
• Complete all standard documentation for the assigned station.
• Confidently communicate with other team members, management, and engineers daily.
