Job summary

Yamaha Motor US is seeking a Chop Gun Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain the chop gun and related equipment, ensuring proper startup, calibration, and shutdown procedures daily.

You will contribute to process control, cycle time, and adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards at your station. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of chop gun experience in a lamination environment, preferably marine.

Qualifications

• One or more years of chop gun experience in a lamination environment, preferably marine.
• Ability to read and complete routine forms and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the chop gun per procedures.
• Perform preventive and autonomous maintenance daily.
• Complete PM work orders on equipment.
• Start up, calibrate, and shut down the chop gun.
• Read work instructions and standard work for the station.
• Document all station activities.
• Communicate with team members, management, and engineers daily.
