Job summary

Skeeteremployment seeks a Chop Gun Operator in Kentucky to operate and maintain the chop gun and resin pump, perform startup, calibrations, and shutdown daily, and help drive safety, quality, and efficiency at the station.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of chop gun experience in a lamination environment (marine industry preferred), with ability to read procedures and complete standard documentation in a loud production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One+ year chop gun experience in a lamination environment preferred (marine industry).
• Ability to read work instructions and complete standard forms/ddocumentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the chop gun according to procedure and instruction.
• Perform and complete all preventive and autonomous maintenance on the chop gun and associated equipment, daily.
• Perform and complete all PM work orders on equipment.
• Responsible for the start up, calibrations, and shut down of this equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow all work instructions and standard work for the station.
• Complete all standard documentation for the assigned station.
• Communicate with team members, management, and engineers daily.
