Job summary

Barry Callebaut Group in California is hiring an Operator II to check and optimize equipment, prepare chocolate according to specifications, and support packaging lines. You will ensure cleanliness, set up weights, run tests on metal detectors and vision systems, and follow GMP and HACCP procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of production manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and optimum condition of the equipment before starting.
• Follow Lead direction to support department priorities and needs.
• Ensure the packaging materials are in good condition.
• Set up and operate packing lines per process orders.
• Perform tests to check detectors and vision systems at shift start and as scheduled.
• Report anomalies and safety concerns to supervision.
• Maintain GMPs and food safety practices at all times.
